Mariemont High School reminds students not to text and drive

Following a “Don’t Text and Drive” student assembly this year, the Mariemont High School Student Council wanted to establish a constant reminder to students.

They turned to the Mariemont Police/Fire Department to help them in this effort. The Department provided the funds for a “Don’t Text and Drive” (DNT TXT N DRV) banner that is permanently on display on Warrior Way – the drive leading up to the school.

A combined school and community effort led to the “Don’t Text and Drive” banner prominently displayed at Mariemont High School. Pictured here under the new banner are Mariemont Asst. Fire Chief Tim Feichtner, Student Council members Josh Keyes and Emmett Saulnier, Mariemont Police Chief Rich Hines, Police Captain Tim Messer and Student Council members Allie Frey and Adrienne Bruggeman.
