The Eleventh Annual Mariemont Police Appreciation Dinner was held on Thurs
day, May 24 at the National Exemplar. Village residents mingled with the Department staff and their guests in the casual venue of the Tudor Room.
Officer Phil Mitchell received the Chris Robisch Officer of the Year Award. Along with his dedication, leadership and professionalism, Officer Mitchell was recognized for his heroic actions as the first to respond to an active homicide scene. The recipient of the award, named for Mariemont's first Police Chief, is determined by a peer selection process.
