Mariemont Village Government

The Village of Mariemont uses a style of government developed in 1941 at the time of its incorporation as a village. Our first mayor, E. Boyd Jordan, and his wife, Marie, worked with a committee to divide Mariemont into 6 districts, each with a representative on Village Council, overseen by a Mayor. The Mayor has no vote in Council meetings, unless there is a tie.
