MJHS Power of the Pen Teams Place in the Top at District Competition

The Mariemont Junior High School 7th and 8th grade Power of the Pen teams both earned 2nd place out of 20 schools at the district tournament at Mason Middle School. The teams also had writers earn individual awards.

In the 7th grade, Erin Kelly won 4th place while Lexie Wood won 13th place. For the 8th grade team, Elizabeth Elin earned 2nd place, Katie Copetas won 4th and Ashley Grimmer placed 13th place. These writers will move on to the regional competition at Wyoming Middle School in March.
