Mariemont Players, Inc. (MPI) is one of the area’s oldest community theaters. MPI was formed over 75 years ago as a church group that performed plays in the village of Mariemont, Ohio. In 1960, for $8,250, the group bought the old Plainville four-room school building. The original building’s cornerstone was laid in 1869, but the present solid brick building at the intersection of Walton Creek and Muchmore Roads dates from 1910.
Mariemont Players Inc. has the great fortune of a loyal subscription base. Year after year, our audience members include MPI shows as “must-do” events during the year and plan in advance to see each show of the season. Our seasons are filled with shows you know and love and one or two that just might surprise you. For more information please visit us at mariemontplayers.com.
