Holiday Floral Arrangements

You are invited to come learn the principles of flower arranging along with some of the tricks and tips of the profession.  Knowing all this will enable you to create your own arrangements in the home – for a door, an entry hall, a coffee table, a dining table, etc.—-that will last a week or more with proper care.

Saturday Nov 22, 10am – noon:

Holiday Floral Arrangement Demo

Nicky will demonstrate wreaths, topiary, and holiday table floral ideas. The basic framework will last 6 – 7 weeks and can be revised for a fresh holiday decoration. Cost: $25

Sat. Nov. 29, 10am – noon
Holiday Hanging Basket Workshop

Greens, berries, cones, ornaments, and ribbon combine to create a welcoming decoration outside your home. Cost: $60 (includes all materials)

Tuesday Dec 2, 10am – noon

Floral Demonstrations of both elegant and whimsical arrangements to brighten the home for the Christmas holidays. Cost: $25

Thursday Dec. 11th, 2 sessions: 2pm – 4pm & 7pm – 9pm

Flower Arrangement Flower Arrangement Workshop with a Christmas ThemeMake a topiary and floral wreath – and a surprise whimsical small arrangement. Fee: $80, includes all materials. Class limited to 12.

Instructor:  Nicky Bade (Former Directress of the Flower Guild at the Church of the Redeemer); participant and award winner at the Cincinnati Flower Show and participant in Art In Bloom at the Cincinnati Art Museum.  Nicky is an avid gardener and often relies on material in her own yard for arranging.

  1. looking for a workshop to learn some basics. my son’s fiancee asked for help with wedding flowers in North Carolina. Thought I’d take a class if possible to be more helpful. any chance you have a workshop that might help me with their personal flowers?
