Mariemont Elementary Honoring Veterans

The students at Mariemont Elementary prepared a special program to honor our veterans. Loved ones and community members who are veterans were invited to attend the school-wide celebration. Thank you to all of our veterans!

Veterans Day Remembrance

Veterans Day is Tuesday the 11th of November. In recent years, Nancy Bisbe, the former outstanding Middle School librarian in the Mariemont School System, has interviewed dozens of Greater Mariemont residents that fought in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. These interviews offer first hand fascinating insights into these conflicts. Many of these veterans still live in the Mariemont School community and are your neighbors. Here is a link to the Mariemont Veterans History Project: http://www.mariemontschools.org/mariemont-veterans-history-project/index.cfm.

The Mariemont City School District Veterans History Project is an official partner of the Library of Congress where the videos are permanently stored.
