Students Recognized for Their Communication, Leadership

The motto of the school district is to create Scholars of today, leaders of tomorrow. As part of that misison, Mariemont High School is focusing on leadership qualities to help students understand what it takes to become a leader. Each month, one leadership quality is highlighted and teachers can nominate students who have shown this quality during the month.

For the month of November, the students focused on good leaders as good communicators. Teachers were able to nominate students that they felt have good communication skills. These students were put into a drawing and three names were drawn as winners. The Mariemont High School Campus Life team rewarded the winners with a Chipotle lunch that is brought to them during their lunch time at school. The three students that won are:
Erin Ramey – grade 9 (nominated by Mrs. Lee Lowery)
Mac Lewis – grade 12 (nominated by Mrs. Amy Leatherwood)
Bailey Geers – grade 12 (nominated by Mrs. Judy Dunlap)

Other students who were nominated by teachers in November are Ashley Murauskas, Connor Hurlock, Maddie Arends, Hadley George, Olivia Griffith and Matthew Burgess.

Congratulations to the winners and all of the students that were nominated. You are role models both in our school and in our community!
